The Elliot Foundation Academies Trust (TEFAT) is the Admissions Authority for Greenside, meaning the Trust is responsible for determining the admissions arrangements and managing any subsequent processes for its schools. 

Reception Admissions

If your child was born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020, they will be starting reception in primary school from September 2024.

The application process opened on 1 September 2023 and closes on 15 January 2024. The national offer day is 16 April 2024.

Nursery Admissions

Admissions to our Nursery are made directly to the school office.  Your child will be able to access their funded place from the term after their third birthday. This is detailed in the table below:

We have a limit of 25 places in our Nursery. We have a flexible approach to offering nursery places at Greenside and have a range of options to suit our families' needs:

• 15 hours free childcare - Monday to Friday from 8:50am to 11:50am. 
• Full 30 hours’ free childcare eligibility - Our Nursery will also be open in the afternoon for families entitled to 30 hours childcare and have a 30 hour code. • Top up funding for additional 15 hours childcare - If you are not eligible for the 30 hours of childcare and want your child to attend the nursery full-time the charge will be £100 per week.
