GREENSIDE & GRIFFIN PRIMARY
A Federation Partnership
We are very proud members of both the Greenside & Griffin Federation and The Elliot Foundation Multi-academy Trust.
.
Greenside & Griffin are both London 1-form entry academies working within wonderfully diverse and rich communities and as such our close partnership enhances the experiences for our students and our staff.
.
We are cemented together by a shared Executive Head, Karen Bastick-Styles and a Leadership Group who enjoy strong working relationships, a similar vision and a relentless determination that every student within our Federation will be challenged, supported a play a unique part in their school.
.
Our staff meet, plan, moderate and share pedagogical practice regularly and benefit from being part of a different and bigger team at times.
.
For our students being part of our Federation is very real and they also befit from meeting and working with their peers throughout the year: from a Y6 Writing day in September each year to shared learning events often on one of our sites. In recent months they have been on external trips together, shared poetry days at the Bush Theatre and worked on joint environment projects.
.
We also both support Good Chance as our identified charity and we have delighted in inviting Griffin students to recent fundraising performances and events.
.
There are 9 London TEF academies and there are always opportunities for us to work collaboratively together whether that be students or staff. Next year Greenside will choreograph a Good Dance for Good Chance and we hope all students in all 9 academies will dance the same dance at the same time!
.
From Arts projects to sporting challenges we gain so much from working together! We look forward to many exciting projects, ahead and to sharing and learning together in the future.
